She generally reserves a couple of sliding-scale slots for people with financial hardship. If she is unable to see you she will make referrals to other providers in the community.

She accepts credit cards, checks and cash.

You will not be charged for a session if you cancel at least 48 hours in advance, although more notice is always appreciated.

Insurance
While she does not participate in managed care networks, many PPO insurance plans provide coverage for mental health services provided by licensed professionals.    She provides  itemized superbills to submit to insurance and is happy to assist in filling out paperwork necessary to receive reimbursement.

DBT Skills Group
Participants in the DBT skills group must also be in their own individual therapy. If you are not currently in your own therapy she may be able to see you for individual therapy or refer you to another provider.
To join the group you will need to schedule an intake appointment.

Medication and Psychiatry
SF therapy does not provide psychiatry services or medication. If medication is indicated you will be referred to a psychiatrist for a medication evaluation.
She regularly collaborates care with private community psychiatrists as well as UCSF and Kaiser medical centers.
